Michele
Kahn is a 1987 honors graduate of Boston University School of Law.
Michele is listed in Who's Who in American Law. She served
as a Small Claims Court Arbitrator in the New York City Civil Court
from 1994-1997; was a member of the New York Regional Board of the
ADL from 1992-1995; has been a board member of LeGaL since 1998
(and is a past president); and serves on her condominium Board of
Managers. Michele is the chairperson of the newly created New York
State Bar Committee on LGBT People and the Law.
Michele
has completed a 40-hour mediation course and has taught numerous
continuing legal education courses. She has tried over 20 cases.
Michele
has spoken on matrimonial and family law and on gay and lesbian
family law to several groups, including the Westchester chapter
of the American Society of Independent Accountants, the Jewish Community
Center on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, and New York County
Lawyers Association. She is a member of the American Bar Association,
New York State Bar Association, New York Women’s
Bar Association and LeGaL.

Eric
Goldberg, Esq.

Eric
Goldberg is a 2003 graduate of Brooklyn Law School in New York.
After graduation, Eric spent over two years as counsel to a Chapter
7 bankruptcy trustee, where he also worked on commercial insurance
coverage disputes. As part of his practice, Eric continues to focus
on insurance and subrogation matters.
Eric
has volunteered in the Kings County Family Court, where he assisted
domestic violence victims. Eric currently serves on his condominium’s
Board of Managers, and is a member of the American Bar Association
and the New York State Bar Association. He joined Michele
Kahn in January 2006 and together they formed Kahn & Goldberg,
LLP.
